9 Days Egypt Tour: Pyramids, GEM, Siwa and White Desert

Check out early in the morning as our private air-conditioned vehicle drives you toward the Mediterranean coast. We stop at the beautiful seaside city of Marsa Matruh for lunch before cutting south deep into the desert toward Siwa Oasis. Arrive in Siwa by the end of the day, check into your traditional hotel, enjoy a fresh Siwan dinner, and rest.

After breakfast, begin an immersive tour of Siwa's cultural treasures. Visit the rock-cut tombs at the Mountain of the Dead, the historic Temple of the Oracle (Alexander the Great Temple), and the ancient mud-brick ruins of Shali Fortress. Take a refreshing swim in the famous Cleopatra’s Spring before a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, experience the ultimate relaxation floating effortlessly in the turquoise, high-buoyancy Siwa Salt Lakes, followed by a panoramic desert sunset from Fatnas Island. Overnight in Siwa.

Savor your breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Today, we embark on a scenic highway transit across the desert sands from Siwa back toward Marsa Matruh, and then down to Bahariya Oasis. A relaxing lunch stop is included along the route. Arrive at Bahariya Oasis by the late afternoon, check into your local hotel/eco-lodge, enjoy a traditional dinner, and prepare for tomorrow's jeep safari.

After a fresh oasis breakfast, board our rugged 4x4 Jeep to kickstart the deep desert safari. Explore the dramatic, volcanic peaks of the Black Desert and hike up El-Marsous Mountain. Stop at El-Hez Village to see the Cold Spring and enjoy a freshly prepared lunch. In the afternoon, visit the sparkling Crystal Mountain and the sweeping sand dunes of the Agabat area. Enter the White Desert National Park at sunset to view the iconic limestone rock formations (Mushroom Rock). Set up our wild camp, enjoy a fresh Bedouin dinner over the campfire, and sleep under the stars.

Wake up to a magical desert sunrise followed by breakfast at the camp. Today, our 4x4 off-road adventure dives deeper into the wilderness. Explore the dramatic landscapes of the Old White Desert and the remote "Tent" formation areas. We visit the lonely, ancient Acacia Tree before heading to the Roman ruins of Green Spring for a fresh lunch. Spend the afternoon crossing hidden desert valleys with ample stops for professional photography. We pitch our tents tonight in a secluded, scenic spot within the Agabat Valley for our second night of wild camping, complete with a fresh campfire dinner.

Savor your final breakfast in the desert before loading the jeep. We drive our 4x4 off-road vehicles back to Bahariya Oasis, where you can enjoy an optional refreshing shower and rest at our base hotel. Board your private air-conditioned transport for the drive back to Cairo. Check into your Cairo hotel in the afternoon and enjoy a free evening for last-minute souvenir shopping or an optional Nile dinner cruise.

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel. Check out of your room, meet our private representative, and transfer via private air-conditioned car to Cairo International Airport for your final flight back home, concluding your epic 9-day pyramids and desert expedition.
