8 Days Western Desert Safari from Cairo to Luxor | Siwa, Bahariya, White Desert, Dakhla & Kharga

After breakfast, begin exploring Siwa Oasis with visits to the Mountain of the Dead, the Temple of the Oracle associated with Alexander the Great, and Cleopatra’s Spring. Return for lunch before visiting Gebel Dakrur and the beautiful Siwa Salt Lakes. In the evening, enjoy dinner and walk through the local market, where you can discover traditional dates, olives, handicrafts, and Siwan products. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy an early breakfast before leaving Siwa Oasis and traveling toward Bahariya Oasis. The journey passes through the Marsa Matruh route, with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive in Bahariya by the end of the day, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest before beginning the desert safari.

After breakfast, board your private 4x4 Jeep and begin the off-road adventure. Explore the volcanic hills of the Black Desert before continuing to El-Hez Village to visit its refreshing Cold Spring and enjoy lunch. Afterward, visit the sparkling Crystal Mountain and drive deep into the remote Al-Mattar area. Set up camp in a peaceful desert location, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and spend the night beneath the stars.

Wake up to a beautiful desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast at the camp. Continue by 4x4 through the dramatic landscapes of Agabat Valley and the impressive Karaween Dunes. Stop at the remote Magic Spring for lunch and time to relax. In the afternoon, drive into the White Desert National Park and explore its extraordinary wind-carved limestone formations. Set up your second desert camp, enjoy dinner around the campfire, and spend another unforgettable night under the stars.

After breakfast, leave the desert and meet your private air-conditioned vehicle at the main road for the journey to Dakhla Oasis. Upon arrival, visit the Roman-era Deir El-Hagar Temple and the ancient El-Muzawaka Tombs. Continue to El-Qasr Village for lunch, followed by a walking tour through the narrow streets and historic mud-brick buildings of the old Islamic village. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and travel toward Kharga Oasis. Visit the Kharga Archaeological Museum and the historic Hibis Temple before stopping for a traditional local lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed walk through Kharga’s local market, where you can see traditional products, dates, spices, and handmade crafts. Check into your hotel, have dinner, and spend the night in Kharga.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before beginning the final journey across the desert highway toward Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be transferred directly to your designated hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor, where you can continue your Egypt travel program. The 8-day Western Desert safari concludes upon arrival in Luxor.
